Expanded Pet Boarding Kennel in Vestal, New York

Pet Boarding

The expansion of our facility in 2001 included a significant addition to our boarding facilities. We now offer both dog and cat boarding areas, at opposite ends of the hospital – these well separated boarding areas give cats and dogs privacy from each other, as well as greater safety from potential contact.

  • Dogs have twelve outdoor runs that are covered, have supplemental heat available in the winter, and include a fenced-in play area.
  • Cats have condo-style enclosures and a "fully-equipped" playroom.

We offer both overnight and day boarding and are happy to board your other feathered, furred, or scaled pets as well.

As an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), we are held to a higher level of care than other non-hospital boarding facilities. If the boarder is not a current patient at the Vestal Veterinary Hospital, a pre-boarding physical examination by one of our veterinarians is required. A doctor will examine your pet to make sure there are no unknown physical problems. This exam protects your pet as well as the other pets boarding here. In addition, all of our boarders are required to be up-to-date on vaccines, including the Bordetella vaccine for dogs (which protects against Kennel Cough). If your pet requires medication while boarding with us, please discuss this with our staff in advance.

While we are not professional groomers, during the week we do offer some basic trimming and de-matting services, as well as bathing and de-skunking. Other add-on services are available, including individual playtime and/or leash walking for your pet. These services can make your pet’s stay with us even more stimulating.

Feel free to stop in and take a tour of our facility. Our staff will be pleased to answer any additional questions you may have.

  • We have a PDF Boarding form available that you can fill out ahead of time.
