In House Pharmacy

At Vestal Veterinary Hospital, we offer an in-house pharmacy. In this way we offer the convenience of starting treatment at home immediately without stopping at the local pharmacy. If we do not have the specific medication needed for your pet, we can provide you with a prescription for any local pharmacy that you might use for your personal medications, or we can special order the medication for you. Most medicines only take 24 to 48 hours to arrive here.

Pet Portal

For those prescriptions that are on-going we ask you to call the office for refills so we can have the medication ready and waiting for you. Another option we offer is the convenience of personal Pet Portals.

Through our website our clients have access to Pet Portal, a secure website that gives you online health information for your pet. We provide Pet Portals free of charge to all clients who have an active e-mail address.

Clients can use Pet Portal to request appointments, prescription refills, and to contact us regarding non-urgent pet health issues. Should you need information when our office is closed, Pet Portal gives you online access to your pet’s vaccination and exam status. In addition, you can find prescription history, as well as pet health articles, online shopping and more.
